Buses
 During the day
The Public Bus System in Barcelona is very good; there are a lot of buses covering all parts of Barcelona. The day-buses circulate from 5 am to 10 pm.
 During the night
The night buses start from 10 pmand run until 5 am , they leave at Plaça Catalunya. You can easily recognise them by the "N" (for Nit-bus) on the bus.

 Taxis
Taxis are yellow and black, a green light on the roof show that they are available. In the city centre there are taxi ranks at Plaça Catalunya or near Las Ramblas. However, it is probably easier to stop passing taxis on the street. Taxis operate 24 hours a day. The minimum fare is 1,80 Euro.
You can also reserve them by phone. The service is usually fast and reliable. If you need a taxi from a restaurant you can normally ask a member of staff to order one.
